I was talking about Creative with Rick and Freak, and I thought I should share it with y'all.

Coming off of Tom's idea about group projects: In part of planning for and laying out the new area, I think we should revitalize my first impressions of Creative Minecraft when I first joined this server: that people built independently yet cooperatively with their surroundings. If we were to have a wipe/map reset (because let's be honest, we should use the circular limit for Creative), let's have people develop "build areas" centered around towns and cities in the Apprentice-only areas of the map.

Just an idea. I just suddenly thought of the days when builds and cities were physically connected and relatively more organized. Furthermore, since it's on creative, they can be grander and much more impressive, and with a rank limit, we'll be allowing only the cream of the crop to contribute to our build community.

Think community. Without the limits, we'll just end up with another 4GB map and scattered builds all about.

If Flatland creative was wiped, i would probably never play minecraft again.
I have spent literally hundreds of hours on jobs in creative.
I like the idea of having a fresh start, but we need to have it without removing things from the worlds we already have.

The old maps won't be wiped or removed. There is no need for it. A new world will be created with a large border and that world will become our leading world whilst the current worlds will be accessible through warps.
