Performance Enhancements to Survival Server

Mon Mar 12, 2012 7:28 am

I'm sure many of you noticed that when we upgraded survival to 1.2 the performance went way way down. This is due to the default chunk handling system in Minecraft which is to be blunt: complete cack.

So I've replaced our chunk handling system with the one that NoLagg offers which is much more high performance and multi-threaded in several areas. You'll now notice that it performs as good as our 1.1 server did, if not better.

Thanks Pri. I bet it does the same but might be better both in Architect and Creative servers.
