A brief description of my project: My project is stretches from Pokemon to family guy to Johnny bravo. Because my last application was to basic and not unique I decided to mix up and create something really interesting.

As part of a shift in our Artist applications we now would like more than 50% of the submitted art to be original pieces not pre-existing characters. Original works from your own imagination.

Pri with all respect you have decided to post this comment about using my own creations after I posted my application without telling anyone prior to this new rule therefore all application posts made before this new rule was established should not be affected by me for example my post was put on at 3.00 pm yesterday so I shouldnt be affected. Sorry for the rant but im really upset as I tried very hard to make these pixel arts and I believe they are worthy of artist so please take my comment under consideration

Vipezz, this isn't a rule I've created at this moment, it is something the staff agreed upon several months ago.

But my point is there may be similar rules but not this exact rule which you have only mentioned to me after applying for artist twice which is completely unfair and whether the work is original or not it still takes a certain amount of skill to create pixel art and that is what the rank was made for people who do pixel art original or not I still worked really hard and feel I deserve artist and will be extremely annoyed if I dont get after working all week to create 5 new and difficult pixel art. Im not blaming you im just saying that I think my work is worthy of artist

I see your point V1P3ZzZ but the fact is i would also say this is not artist worthy even if we ignore the fact that uniqueness is a massive part of getting the artist rank. Artist is not something that's easy to get since so many people have gone for it. I have linked 2 recent members who have gotten artist and are very successful in doing so. Strive to get these outcomes and re post in more than 7 days. Don't rush it, take your time and the results will come soon enough.

If thats your opinion on it then I suppose im done. Id rather do pixel art because I like it rather than end up despising it just to get some stupid rank and changing how o do just so others will like it and approve of it so thanks for the feedback and I meant no offence. Im just not meant to get the rank and I dont care just thought it would look good.

Unfortunately sometimes there are disagreements like this over ratings but we can't lower our standards just to placate people otherwise the rating system would be pointless.

If you felt that you wasted your time then I am sorry for that but I can't give this Artist. And I do agree with Blackeye even if this scored high in uniqueness I don't think the art is that impressive compared to other submissions we've had like Cellos.
