The future of our creative server (Discussion)

Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:26 am

I think it has become plainly obvious to everyone that our Creative server has been forgotten. Left to languish.

So what shall we do about it? Just upgrade it to 1.7 and forget about it? Wipe the map? Add a border after we wipe the map? Open it to everyone? Open it to no one?

What do you want to see us do with the server? I'm open to all suggestions.

I think for the few people that do creative, it's worth it. Creative is always a nice addition to server communities just to relax and just build or create things. I know that there are some projects going on as well that are very cool like a League of Legends Dominion map that I'm looking forward to. I'd say leave it how it is and just upgrade to 1.7 when you can for the new features. No need wiping when the flatland has plenty of space. BUT the main area (not flatlands) I noticed had no room... there should be a wipe for that. ALSO, it would be very helpful to make at least a spawn board for it that lists out all the warps, because I always forget them :P So over all, wipe the main area (not flatland) as it is extremely crowded, leave flatland as it has cool projects going on and has enough room (at least flat 2 does), and of course upgrade everything to 1.7. (I'd also like to see other crowded areas wiped if possible lol) I would hate to see the creative server go... The community needs at least somewhere they can be for sure safe from me XD

Well, what did you have in mind to do with it? Will Creative change completely? Will it be removed entirely? If it were to be wiped, it'd be cool to have separate flatlands like "Pixel Art" and "Builds" but more precise than that, I guess.

Personally I would love to see a clean wipe. Either way, its nice to have the creative server there when I get tired of the constraints of survival mode. So wipe or no wipe, please keep it online. Thanks!

I'm good with Overworld map wipe. It must be wiped with same large size, just different biomes added.
I suggest leaving other worlds alone.

Seems like the world wipe is the popular option. I believe an update to 1.7 and a wipe (or new map) along with it might be in order. That way while we wait for the other pulggins for the survival people can still get a good look and experiment on creative over 1.7

I agree with freak. I think the flat lands and other private warps should be kept as-IS. However, I think the other lands should be restored.

By the way based on what people say in this topic I will be making a poll with everyone's suggestions so we can vote on what we want to occur.
