This defeats the purpose of a mobtrap, the whole excuse of it BEING a mobtrap, if you had it closed off at the time.
Also, what kind of visitors would jump into a mobtrap?

Also with mobs damage potions heal them like for zombies and skeletons if it is a mob trap its a bad one

As you can see from the "evidence" there is a platform for people to stand , suggesting that the whole purpose was NOT to kill the player who Tp'ed in.

Yes, but when these people are teleported, they are dropped onto a pressure plate, not onto a ledge.
If it was not to kill people who you wanted to teleport to YOU, why were there dispensers with harming potions? If it was a mobtrap, why was it closed off? Why would you teleport guests into a pit with a trap? Why would they stand on a ledge? To see mobs fall in? It was blocked off.
Please. Explain. I beg of you, plead your case.

Where is your proof of those being dropped onto a pressure plate? From all I can see there is a single picture which does not suggest the triggering of the pressure plate of any sorts. I was at my mob trap collecting the drops and decided to /tpahere everyone on the server to me so they could have a look. In preparation to this I closed off the top.

I went to this spot and the pressure plate at the bottom is gone. There's nothing at the bottom but a locked chest now. Destruction of evidence? I showed Rav and Steph. They didn't seem think it is/was a player trap.
