Trivia about the Renegades Server

Back in early 2011, when our first survival server launched, we had a giant Vodka statue and a really big mall pretty close to the spawn. There was also some kind of a glitch or exploit in iConomy (or whatever money plugin we had) that allowed us to /sell our items for money. This caused people (including me since I thought it was the intended behaviour ) to build big farms of sugar canes to harvest and sell them quickly to get rich.

In my defence, had there been no complications like the failed hard drive, motherboard stability issues and so on it would have been completed in the 6 hour window. Sometimes things happen that are outside of our control.
