I dont know if it is a bug, but when i use shears on leaves i get Apples.
I dont know if it only works in Survival, but i think that's the only server it works on.
If it is a bug i wanted to let you guys know, and hopefully it will get fixed soon.

I believe it is not a bug because it is like harvesting the leaft. Instead of getting a sappling and apple you get the leaf plus apple
