I got banned for breaking a cobblestone block

I'm sorry i didnt know you can't break blocks in unclaimed territory.can I please have another chance on this server I made a mistake on griefing and I would like another chance I will not do this again I promise I really like this server its a good one! If you be so kind and give me one more chance to not get banned and to be able to go on this server that would be awesome I will not do this again I promise.
