Have brightness edited in my options.txt so i can see in 0 light level, i was mining that way and i got kicked by console after i mined diamond saying that i was not allowed to mine in 0 percent light level. i provided my options.txt inside my minecraft folder look at the gamma settings. What do you mean banned by accident?

console banned, maybe a overactive anticheat? idk. but it was a false ban because of my brightness setting being set to 10.0 in my settings inside the .minecraft folder on my mac

I imagine that same setting allows you to see where the diamonds are and mine straight to them?

no sir. literally i mine all different directions and i get lucky, idk why it just happened

I need to know from you that you will change that setting back to normal as it would otherwise give you an unfair advantage over other players. If that setting is changed, then I will lift the ban.

I know what he's talking about I have seen players edit a setting (not a mod or hack) which allows them to see with a lot more brightness.
