i use latest version put a disguise on and i still get attacked from mobs. i put it back to 1.72 i put a disguise on i still get attacked by mobs. is there any version of the game where a disguise card will work?.

Mobs will still attack you even though you're disguised.
Disguise only changes your appearance and not the player itself, so for the mobs you're not that random cow(or other mob), for them you're still that hostile dude they want to attack.

Yea, it was probably used like that too much, and I don't think it was supposed to be meant for it.

On another note, one day I noticed that mobs can now see you even when using an invisibility potion.. when they couldn't see you before (I don't recall exactly when this change took place). I used to love this benefit of invisibility potions but its gone now... so here's a good example of a somewhat marketable item that is virtually useless on survival.

You can still run around / fly around invisible with a sword around a dude that doesen't know what's happening and get jailed (talking out of experience, LOL)
