Ban Appeal

Hello. I just started on this server today and I was still trying to figure it out and I wanted to destroy a grass block in the River3 location but when I destroyed it I got banned because apparently it was a honeypot block? I don't know what that is... and I didn't know I could get banned for breaking a grass block Can I please get Unbanned? I won't destroy it again, I will go to a Mountain Biome instead!

Actually: Vinjii was banned for breaking a EMERALD_BLOCK at x=-4450, y=71, z=4307}.

This is an entry from our automatic banning system. It clearly says that you broke an Emerald block and not a grass block. We do not set grass as honeypots.

I didn't fully break that block though I was punching it with my fist for like 5 seconds and it didn't break. So does this mean I got banned for trying to break the block? If so, I'm sorry for doing it.. I'm brand new to this server and didn't realize trying to break the block would ban me :/

It bans you the instant that the block breaks (but doesn't let you keep it obviously). Please be mindful that when you first visited the server you were taken through a sewer which listed some rules, one of those rules is no griefing.

In the guide book it elaborates on what exactly griefing means and we consider it breaking blocks that have been placed by other users without their permission. Just like we want to protect other peoples constructions we want to keep what you make safe from other people as-well.

I am going to unban you but please keep this in mind in future and only break blocks that are obviously naturally formed and not buildings created by other users.
