Got a great idea for our auction system? Post it below!

Maybe somehow integrating the ability to sell enchanted items and similar types of items that aren't available yet.

That is definitely a feature I want to add, at the current time I cannot add it as I don't have the capability to view the enchantments on items or to remove items from your inventory that contain enchantments. I will need Adrians help to make a plugin to facilitate these features. It is definitely something I do want to add in the future though.

I would assume this goes the same for the custom heads, or player heads? Being able to sell spawners and other items like these would be nice as well.

Also maybe a way to have 'noticications' so you can 'watch' an item or users listings and it sends you a /mail every so often with updated information.

Indeed, any item that has rich meta data like heads, spawners etc cannot be listed at this time without a custom plugin to facilitate that.

But features built on the auction system we have now, for example better mail, notifications, stats, interface tweaks, different ways to list, search, browse etc all that can be done.

Can I search in-game and bid on an item? I would like to see that feature.

Yes it's already possible to bid on items in-game.

I was thinking maybe an add-in that would only allow you to price something for +X% of the average price This allows you to list as low as you want, however, only allows you to list so much above it. This way auctions isnt cluttered with stupid listings, like 5000r for 1 block of dirt or such. Or a routine de-listing that unlists items (forces it into an expired state), if they do fall outside that range.
