I suggest making a way to craft obsidian as following it'd take some durability out of the Diamond pick (why this for a crafting recipe: because these are the things u'll need to get the obsidian in the first place its just less time consuming) and the pick will stay in the crafting area pic:

so the buckets will be consumed? lame

Keep the recipe, the buckets are just emptied (easy thing to do), the pickaxe gets 10 "health" taken away from it (10=whatever number is deemed fit, a pickaxe has 1561 uses)
