Quick note about discounts

I mentioned the other day in-game that I would be adding your discounts to auctions so that you could buy things and use your discount and get money off what you buy but the seller would still get the full amount.
While thinking about this idea today I've actually decided not to implement it because it is fatally flawed.
If for example you listed an item for R10,000 you could get your friend to buy it for R7,000 (if they have a 30% discount) and then you would get your R10,000 and you simply give your friend R7,000 of that and you've made R3,000 profit for doing nothing.
Now imagine that with an R100,000 sale. That's R30,000 being made instantly and for nothing and it would quickly ruin the economy.
I thought about ways to make this work but they all are unattractive and would hurt the gameplay so I've decided to simply axe this idea. Sorry for those who were excited for discount pricing on the Auctions it's just unworkable unfortunately.
