Unsolved Glitches

This post is just here to point out glitches that may be abused that you may or may not be aware of already, most I've already known a long time I just never thought of asking of them. The general idea for making this post is to clear up any of the future that I may need for planning, being the genius I am I must know my boundries. I also want to clear up any curiosities I have with things I personally noticed within my builds.

1. There is a kind of glitch where if you open or break something locked really quick then hit you can hit through with your sword. For example something is in there house taunting me behind a locked door, I would open and hit really quickly as it registers open briefly according to my screen and the hit will actually register and damage them. I wanted to clear up if this would be considered against the rules as exploit or possibly grief?

2. It seems well known but as some may not know, item frames do not register on the logblock bedrock. I have not tested but I'd assume it goes for paintings as well. I was wondering if there was a way for admins to check in perhaps more thorough logs, which I'm betting on, and if there is a way for common non staff members to check them. I know that I for a fact layered my panda king armor collection behind two blocks layered deep in case somebody combines this number and number 1 to break a block and quickly break a panda armor frame. I wanted to clarify if this can be proven and is against the rules.

3. I also noticed something about my chickens getting stuck in fences, usually corners. Is there a reason for it? I just want to know if there is a way to avoid or know why they do that lol.

4. Heads glitch! The one I hate the most, I have not recently asked about it due to my forgetfulness, I was wondering if there was any progress on fixing it. For those who didn't know I made a post a while ago about with the new PvP system being revamped, heads were meant to drop regardless of money but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have not had a legit head of the player I killed since that update, no matter how many times it says beheaded. Not meaning to pressure or anything, just curious if there was any progress on it?

5. Trapped chests do not lock, and can be opened by anyone no matter the town it seems. I have been to many towns where they used trapped chests and normal chests lined next to each other for whatever reason they want them there, and none of them are locked though. BUT they are in a town therefore the regular chests of course are locked, though I can still open trapped chests despite them being in a town. Now I would've thought it has to do with it putting out a redstone signal, but you can't activate pressure plates, levers, or anything else that activate redstone in another town, so I was wondering why this is and if there is a way to fix it?

6. The Panda Parkour Q.Q! So we all know the Panda King Easter Egg parkour course, and that also means we all know how glitch, laggy, or whatever you want to call it, that it is. I have been told before that it is my own lag but I do not lag like this on any other parkour course or area, and its not seeming as lag more so as a glitch. Many people have this issue and I doubt the reason is because they are all lagging. Many many times I see myself complete a jump or even make it to the end but it registers as me falling and failing. Is it possible for this to be looked into and hopefully fixed if an issue is found?

7. Bows can be shot and hit people regardless fly on or fly off. The way it works is that you can't damage somebody by hitting them with fists or any tool if you have fly toggled on and them off, or similar cases. Myself and nearly everyone else has probably noticed this is not the same with bows, as they are probably not registered as the play hitting but possibly the arrow? I personally have no issue for this, it makes fun air bow fights or other fun benefits in my opinion but others have informed me of its strangeness or annoyingness so I was wondering if this could be cleared up whether it is meant to be like that or not. (If it isn't would it be considered exploiting?)

8. PvP logging in protected areas seems to be a decent issue. I've seen it plenty of times, somebody hits somebody in a non PvP area and logs them, then they log out and lose all their stuff. It has never happened to be but it would still be pretty annoying and I thought somebody should bring it up. Is there a way to fix this and is it considered exploiting?

Feel free to add on anymore things being solved that I do not know of or missed, it would most likely be helpful to everyone except staff (since they solve the problems XD). Could there be a reply to this clearing these up in an organized way, like numbering the solutions to match the problems? Arigato Gozaimasu!

Only one I know about is the Panda Parkour one, it's designed to keep people with lag out.
But I see your point, as I don't lag anywhere else, only there. Even if you do lag there, it's easy to bypass, which isn't really good or bad.
The only difference between dicking around and science...
is writing it down.

1. Nothing we can do, this is a mojang problem
2. Bukkit does not provide API's for logging these things so Logblock cannot log them. Core Protect can but it uses a hacky way of recording this data. We have not yet made Core Protect accessible to normal users or moderators. We are still building up its database.
3. Mobs stuck in fences is a Mojang bug, they are not any closer to fixing it even in 1.8
4. Updating our death plugin to drop a percentage of items overrides the drop head on death plugin. We may fix it in the future but it is out of our hands for the most part.
5. There is no way to protect trapped chests, our chest protection plugin does not work with them, the author has no intention of providing support.
6. The reason it is glitchy is because of lag, lag is most obviously felt when pistons are involved due to the way pistons work. Nothing I can do about this apart from removing pistons which is the whole "gimmick" of that parkour.
7. This is an oversight of the plugin we use to try and keep PVP balanced, the author has abandoned the plugin and it doesn't stop bows. Nothing we can do.
8. PVP Logging is going to be removed soon because it causes more problems than it solves.

In the future we will be making the normal world PVE and adding a PVP world. This will fix many of the problems we currently experience.

Today I have written a new plugin which will give you a players head when you kill them. It has a 10% chance.

I hope this will resolve the 4th point issue and make PVP more fun.
