Why the server is down right now

It would appear that the Solid State Disk in our Server that holds our Minecraft servers has failed. Its health quickly deteriorated this morning and files have started to disappear. This is why the towns disappeared this afternoon and then the warps and homes on creative and why many parts of the world on Survival began regenerating.
The SSD we were using was the Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB a very expensive SSD and I did not foresee it failing this soon. I only added it to the server this February.
So this is why we do daily backups and I am as of this moment unpacking the backup from yesterday so we can get the servers back up and running as soon as possible. I have also ordered a new Samsung 840 Pro 128GB to replace the failed SSD. This will be arriving before 1PM on Wednesday which was the earliest delivery I could get from anywhere.
As always things like this happen but we are properly prepared for this eventuation with the daily backups. Our LogBlock and Core Protect databases are unaffected as those were stored on a separate disk and backed up to yet another RAID array separate from the RAID array that our SSD backs up to.
What this means is, once yesterdays backup is up and running (In a few hours from now it looks like) you will be able to request your builds to be restored by a member of staff. To do this simply ask in chat, a member of staff will TP to you and then restore your area using either LogBlock or Core Protect. If you need Item Frames restored Core Protect will be used.
Thank you for your understanding, your builds are very precious to you and to us and this is why we take such laborious steps to backup everything on a regular automated schedule.
