Important change to Creative Build Permissions

From now on only users of the following ranks will be able to build on Creative. This change is effective as of this post.

Apprentice, Contest Winner, Architect, Engineer, Artist, Director, City Planner, Moderator & Administrator.

All Donators of all levels including basic user (dark green name but with a heart) will also be able to build on the Creative server. This affects both Donators who paid money and those who gained the Donator badge through voting.

This means NEW players who do not have a rank or have not donated will NOT be able to place or destroy blocks on our CREATIVE server. This does not affect our Survival or Architect servers.

If you already have something built in Creative or Survival and need an Apprentice rank to continue building on Creative please submit your build for a rating immediately.

Why has this change been made? To stop grief.

So, from now on normal members will have to get apprentice by building in survival?

I don't know if you left out "director" on purpose but if it on purpose, would directors that used to be architect/apprentice be able to build?

I left out Director by mistake. I have updated the post to include that rank.

And yes normal users have three ways to get permission to be able to build on Creative.

1. Donate $1 Minimum
2. Vote 100 Times
3. Rank up to Apprentice or higher via a build in Survival or Anarchy.

If any of those three conditions are met you will be able to build on Creative.

I think that was a smart move. This proves that the people who are willing to contribute and be a part of the community are mature enough not to do stupid crap.

Yeah, this is a nice addition to the server. I remember logging into the creative server about a week or so ago and seeing water poured over every town within a few chunks of spawn. I started cleaning it up myself and eventually told Rick about it. Ever since then, I think I've had him come on the server 3 times and he's had to ban like 10+ people lol. It's really sad, I don't understand how someone can get enjoyment not only destroying someone else's work but also wasting their own time doing something pointless. Since I am not sure if there is any grief that cant be un-done in mere minutes by a mod/admin.
