Hey, I know I have been playing in the server for a while and while I have seen map expansion new players tend to keep in the close by areas.

My suggestion is this, to add a couple of more ships to the doc that can take you to further places in the map, giving non-Arch or higher players (i.e. non-flying players) a chance to cover more ground, discover new Villages (with the updated blocks) and build farm from the usual 500 block area that they tend to go to.

Not sure on this one but given the fact that it can take you further away from some of the most commonly built places maybe griefing of these abandoned areas will go down.

What do you guys think?

I'm all for the idea. Feel free to do that. You are talking about on the Tekkit server right ?

I believe psico is referring to survival, all the biome ships are near the very center of the map, he's talking about having some further out also.

I was referring to Survival mostly because on creative people can fly and as far as tekkit goes, while I have nothing against it i would like to see people in survival (or anarchy) to flourish.

Since in an earlier conversation tekkit's stability was mentioned to be faulty I wouldn't add more stuff to it than it already has that would call for more server traffic to it. [Entirely personal view]

However, the idea of the ships can be applied to either Survival or Tekkit given that it's beneficial concerning ground cover and player support. What do you guys think?

I'm all for the idea. Feel free to add ships or adjust the positions of the current ships. Totally up to you. Maybe even add a 2nd ship dock I dunno Lol whatever you want is fine by me.

I'll have to build a ship model and pass it by to see what I can do. Do I build in Creative and then you can paste it to the Survival or try to build by hand right at the spot?

Build it by hand at the spot. Do you want me to set you to creative for it?
