Re: May 14th 2013
I've told you about Easter Eggs now it is time to reveal something else that is new.
Admin Shops:
In the current spawn we offer over 150 items for sale. As the game goes on adding more and more items is just not sustainable. It is difficult to adjust prices due to the amount of items there are to alter, it makes the shop difficult to navigate due to how many items there are to display and it negatively affects player operated shops due to the Admin Shop having an unlimited quantity of all the commonly needed blocks.
So how does the new spawn change things? Well first of all we no longer offer crafted blocks except for a few minor exceptions (Coloured Wool). This means if you want to for example build a wooden fence you cannot buy fences from the Admin Shop. But you can buy tree logs (Not wood, only logs). You would then need to craft those logs in to wood then the wood in to sticks then the sticks in to fences.
This means the shop now holds only around 64 types of blocks. We carry logs, dirt, grass, sand, all the mineable ores and other blocks like that which you can mine yourself. In-fact when you buy ore from the shop we actually give you the ore block itself not the processed ore. So to actually get the ore you'll need to place the block you receive then mine it. This gives you control because you can either build something with those blocks or use a high fortune level pick to get more material out of it.
Another change to the Admin Shop is that we no longer allow you to sell blocks to the shop. You can only buy items at the Admin Shop. This change is to help player shops. You can now for example create a shop that buys food from players and then sells food at a slightly higher price back to players. You would make profit by facilitating that transaction. The only exception to this sell rule is the Dragon Egg which players receive for winning contests you can still sell this at the Admin Shop for 10,000 Rickies
The final change to the Admin Shop is the inclusion of player run shops right inside the same area. Each Player Shop costs 1,000 Rickies and it is a nicely sized cube with a front store face that is easily accessible to players. We present them pride and place in the Admin Shop area because we want players to see and use your shops instead of our Admin Shop. We want you to offer crafted items, we want you to buy items from players and we want you to undercut our prices. We don't even sell food so those of you who create farms to offer that will be raking in the cash.
The Admin Shop has capacity for 16 player shops, each shop consists of a store front which we (The Admins) make on your behalf. We style the shop for you and decorate it with the items you sell at your shop (Which will be in your own town). Our intention here is to make it as easy as possible for players to identify which shops sell which kinds of goods and to maintain a high level of build quality throughout the shopping area. Once a player enters your "store face" at the admin shop there will be an easily identifiable warp sign which will teleport them to your actual real shop in your own town, from there you have total control over the look of your shop and the items you sell there.
So I'm sure you're thinking, so if I cant sell blocks to the Admin Shop how do I get money? Well we still will offer four ways to get money.
1. Sell items to player operated shops
2. Vote for us at http://vote.renmx.com
3. Win contests, (1st, 2nd & 3rd place all get Rickies)
4. Buy rickies directly from http://contribute.renmx.com
And there is a 5th way to earn Rickies which I'm not going to tell you about right now but you will find out in another unveil soon. I just want you to know that it is there.
Everything we are doing with the new Admin Shop is to help our economy. Our aim is to support players making shops it is a fun activity that many of you would like to do. My advice is get your shop completed before the 14th so players will come to you first for the items they need.
Thanks for reading.

Re: May 14th 2013
The new spawn is now in. It is called Mount Aino. Named after the beautiful Japanese mountain of the same name (obviously).
Here are some commands you'll want to know. You can now use the following warps to get around spawn faster:
/warp shop
/warp contest
/warp travel
And if you want to experience the Spawn like a new user use:
/warp newbies
The spawn is considerably larger than our old one so we decided to include these warps so you wouldn't need to walk everywhere. Flying is disabled in the Spawn however the plugin to gracefully take you down to the ground does not work correctly so at the moment only the /fly command is disabled inside the spawn and it is still possible to fly around if you've already activated flying before you enter the spawn area. We hope to have this corrected in a few days the developer has been made aware of the problem.
I hope everyone has a great time finding all the easter eggs in the new spawn. And remember our new companion online shop also went live today and the address for that is http://shop.renmx.com/

I rendered this with Chunky. I didn't feel like waiting several weeks, so I tried to remove some of the noise manually. Oh, and I also had to downscale the render from 1920x1080 to 1280x720
