I downloaded the map for the old server today and walked around admiring the towns, buildings, and the art. I SALUTE YOU OLD SERVER!
I know this topic is a bit late but I guess the new server still feels fresh to me and the old server still feels like home.
I wish to know what everyone's favorite thing, place, or building on the old server and (if you want) post what you want to do with the new server.

Re: 2011 Survival Server
Ibex Tower was the best thing built on the server by far. It was the highest structure on the server and it looked great. It was made out of all smooth stone and it took us forever to collect the cobble and smelt it down. We died a few times climbing up so high to place the blocks too.
Building Ibex Tower made me feel like some kind of construction worker high above the clouds. It was really really fun.
Some interesting facts about the tower: It was originally 64 blocks from the ground but later became 128 Blocks from the ground.
It featured four separate lifts that could take you to any floor in the building of which there were 8 floors I believe.
The top 16 apartments each had two rooms, one above the other and each of these apartments featured stairs and a built in wardrobe area for storing chests.
Every apartment was built so that the floor, walls and ceiling could be customised by the owner and we supplied different materials for decorating. Each apartment also had a glass railed balcony.

Re: 2011 Survival Server
I take a bunch of pride in SPG, i'm not going to say it was the greatest thing in the server because there really isn't anything bigger than iRand's ego. I liked spg because its a very old structure that started as a project for Shammydude and all of our friends. Only a few months later when towny was added did we decide to make it a town. Shammy and I only expected like 14 people to join our town but that number later turned into 108 players in our town. I had a lot of fun constructing the gigantic corridors, hell i even lost a few sets of diamond constructing it over a lake of lava also hehe.
