Thanks dibbi. I bought my CPU today because it was reduced significantly on Aria.

Came to being about £20-25 cheaper than everywhere else.

Debating motherboards today. Still haven't really come to a conclusion except for the fact I want something with black pcb.
Have been looking at
Asus MAXIMUS IV EXTREME Rev.3.0 (P67) - £167
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H - £134
My main reason for considering the P67 board is that it looks cool and has 2 more USB 3.0 ports but the Gigabyte doesn't look that bad either..
From what I can tell, the Gigabyte seems like a better deal. Then again, I am a motherboard noob so any advice would be awesome.

Here are the main differences between the two boards.
Asus in BLUE, Gigabyte in RED
USB3.0: 8 Ports / 6 Ports
USB2.0: 1 / No
USB3.0 IH: Two Headers / One Header
USB2.0 IH: Four Headers / Three Headers
SATAIII: 4 / 2 Ports
SATAII: 4 / 4 Ports
eSATA: 2 Ports / 2 Ports
mSATA No / 1 Port
Max Mem: 32GB / 32GB
SLI: Yes / Yes
Tri-SLI: Yes / No
Quad-SLI: No / No
Crossfire: Yes / Yes
PCIe x16: 2 Slots / 1 Slot
PCIe x8: 1 Slot / 1 Slot
PCIe x4: 1 Slot / 1 Slot
PCIe x1: 1 Slot / 3 Slots
PCI: No / 1 Slot
DVI: No / Yes
HDMI: No / Yes
D-Sub: No / Yes
DisplayPort: No / Yes
Ethernet: 2 Ports / 1 Port
Hopefully this will help make your decision a little easier. Now if it was me I'd just get the P67 board. The EFI BIOS on the Gigabyte boards looks like a pile of shit and the Asus EFI BIOS looks amazing. The Asus board also has more PCIe slots with higher bandwidth than the Z77 board and it has more USB3.0 and SATAIII Ports.

WHY MUST THESE BE SO EXPENSIVE?! I think i might end up trying to make my own from scratch.

The AX series come with good all black cables to begin with tom. They just aren't single braided.

I know. But single braided looks so cool. I suppose I will wait until christmas or something before shelling out on cables

Well I can't argue with you there. The single braided cables look awesome.
