Today The new GTX Titan was priced at $999.

Yeah, it seems after they released the 680 they just started getting full of themselves.

It's really good though, cannot deny that, and would probably play the upper hand if you're planning on using them in SLI. If not, then one would just go with a 690 if you're willing to spend that much money on a single card.

It's a beast of a card. No doubts about that at all. But it's way overpriced. It is easily twice the amount it should be and that's crazy.

Yes. It is the fastest single GPU card on the planet right now. The only cards faster are the Asus Ares II, the GTX 690 and the HD 7990. All three of those have two GPU's on them.

Imagine I had 6 of this in my PC with Intel Core i7, 25TB hard disk, 500 GB/s disk speed and 4 Gbp/s internet fiber speed. It's the minimum requirements in order to play Minecraft. Also, a router able to port forward and hosts a lot of servers.

You could only fit 4 titan cards in your computer I believe.

Even though your limited to 1 per household...
