At the moment my motherboard does not support triple channel ram, if i put 3 sticks on there will only two of the sticks run like they should? Or will all 3 sticks run in dual channel.

EDIT: Did a little digging, From what i read 2 sticks will run in dual channel and one stick will run in single channel. Will this slow anything down at all or will it be faster if i removed the odd stick.

Why not just buy an extra stick, RAM is extremely cheap.

This model isn't sold in a one stick way. It only comes in pairs of 3.

It should work fine. What will happen is two of the memory sticks will run in Dual Channel mode and will be used first by the system. Only when your memory usage becomes greater than those two sticks combined will it begin to fill the 3rd (and odd) stick.

It is best for the optimum performance of the system to use four sticks instead of three but again it will work and should not diminish performance over using just two sticks.

The kit you are looking at is likely for an X58 based system which supports Tri-Channel and has either 3 or 6 DIMM Slots. The P67 board you have purchased is designed for either 2 or 4 DIMM Slots in Single or Dual channel modes so I would advise you to go with four sticks.
